EST. SPOTLIGHT: WEST HADDON HALL

A flawlessly designed space can change your approach to how you tackle each day. Let me say my life has been forever changed. I’m obsessed with Kate Strickland of West Haddon Hall.  There, I said it. She is cool, stylish, sassy, the whole package. Let me put it like this, if there was cool table to sit at in high school, Kate is sitting at the head of it and it’s everywhere I wanna be.

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia Kate embodies the California woman: strong, independent, well spoken, established & adventurous. Kate and all she has accomplished with her company, West Haddon Hall, is inspiring.  It goes beyond decorating a room. Kate proves herself to be a creative visionary. Working along side homeowners and brands to be sure their voice is heard through every detail.

After graduating from Parsons The New School for Design in New York, Kate headed west to bring her chic, clean and stylish approach to California. While working for a firm designing bars and restaurants, Kate met a mentor that changed the course of her future.  She soon realized there was more opportunity styling residential clients as well and began building her portfolio. And in 2011, West Haddon Hall was born.

What sets Kate & West Haddon Hall apart is not only their high style, but their priority to support local designers and artists. It’s not about finding the most expensive, high-end piece for space. It’s about finding the right piece. By doing so, an authentic piece of a client’s persona is incorporated in the space. This not only adds to the story of the spaces but encourages its owner to embrace and nurture their true identity.

West Haddon Hall continues to grow and prides itself on being a full creative design agency. Through her training and experience Kate is able to offer beautiful spaces to inspire the creativity in others. And she has learned a few things along the way.  Take a note from Kate below, either via her words or her vision.
